#16. Paranormal Blurry TV Effect

An effect frequently used and abused by horror/thriller films these days - now you can give your still images a spooky look.

Something a little different this week. Spotted at PhotoshopBox, this effect will give a photo that paranormal blurry TV effect. It's all done using a linear halftone and blur - but the overall effect has some creative merit.

Conclusion
I'm not sure where this technique has practical use - but nonetheless it's worth filing away for future reference. Could be used for a creative portrait or eerie landscape.

About The Photo
Not much of a subject matter, but for completeness sake this was taken on an overbridge at Rio, Brazil. I just liked the numbers on the road.
